Not completely true Paul. In Denver we have hundreds of people who hold signs at the major intersections. Some are homeless, some not. This former homeless guy I mentioned told me he made up to $300/day. Even broke down what demoninations he would get each day, so I honestly believed him. In Denver, we also have thousands of transients that stay in lower cost motels each night and also our hostels. Lots of drugs and some violence, so this originally was my concern for our friend Nadya. Probably these are the ones receiving some government assistance.
