I agree with your perception of strength. I'm familiar with a Russian woman whom was probably stronger than King Kong, but unable to reconcile with the critical feedback and strong viewpoints from the respective colleagues. Maybe such strong mindsets were products of a Soviet educational system when a single mistake on an exam could mean the end of someone's entire academic career 😕
