Wolfgang, I want to say thank you for taking the time to share your story and I'm sorry your experience wasn't a very positive one. You may never know why the woman you visited suddenly turned cold but there's no use in dwelling on it now. Actually, I would say you are lucky that you found out the two of you are incompatible now instead of finding out much later on when you're in a committed relationship or marriage. It definitely hurts when you've spent so much time, money, and emotions to come away with nothing but those are the risks that we all (men and women) take during this search. You didn't find your love but you did acquire more knowledge and experience for the next time. And hey, good on you for actually getting on a plane and going to visit someone. Do you know how many men talk and talk and talk to these women with promises to visit but never do? Actions speak louder than words and you've proven that you're a man of action. Take the time to pick the pieces up, then get out there and try again. I realize that's easy for me to say but I know there is someone out there, waiting for you, that will make all of these terrible experiences worth it. I wish you the best of luck!
