Hello Matt, thanks for an interesting topic. Hopefully, many women will respond and share their experiences. My own experience with dating over 35 in my home country was rather unfortunate. At 40 I found myself divorced. My only child was 15 at that time. I had my own place and a decent income, a pretty good life style by Russian standards. I exercised a lot, took care of myself, and was fairly good looking for my age. Shortly after my marriage ended, I created profiles on few international dating sites hoping to find a partner but remained open to the idea of seeing somebody locally. Long story short, for three years, until I met my husband, only two men in my country showed some interest in me. One was 20 years senior to me and married to my friend. And another one was 27 years senior. The end.
