- How would you describe yourself?
- I’m a very easygoing and good-humored person who loves the arts, especially music, and enjoys living a positive, light life with a deep sense of meaning. I strive to make my life a journey that is truly worth it.
- How would you describe your ideal partner?
- My ideal partner should, above all, be authentic and genuine. I believe we need to give each other the opportunity to truly know who we are, because you can only love someone you truly know. I value people who appreciate life in its simplest moments and who see family and love as meaningful experiences that make our existence more beautiful, more interesting, and more fulfilling.
- If you knew the world was going to end in 30 days, what would you do?
- I would travel the world with my family (which I still hope to build), seeking to appreciate all the beauty that nature has given us.
- If you had 10 million dollars to spare, what would you do with it?
- I would keep the money invested and use the returns to travel the world, explore new forms of art, and also seek to create initiatives to help others transform their lives, especially those in vulnerable situations.
- How often, and from whom do you ask advice?
- I don’t usually ask for advice in my day-to-day life, but I do have a small group of people I can count on the fingers of one hand whom I turn to when important decisions need to be made. I consider myself relatively independent in that sense, but I have enough humility to recognize that sometimes it’s important to listen to people who truly care and have a mature perspective on life.
- What quality do you value most in the people of your gender?
- I admire men who are balanced, who know how to be strong in difficult moments, yet are also open to receiving support. Who can be objective and direct in situations that require assertiveness, but are also able to perceive subtle nuances in more delicate situations. Who have the firmness to lead, while at the same time the humility to listen. Who have the courage to live in the present, while also planting the seeds for that enjoyment to be sustainable in the long term. Yes, if there’s one thing I admire in men—and that I strive to bring into my own life, it’s balance.
- What quality do you value most in the opposite sex?
- I admire women who are gentle and able to make their environment lighter, but who also have the energy and autonomy needed when the situation calls for it. I admire a woman who is capable of giving herself to her family, but who also has the courage to allow herself to be cared for. I admire a woman who understands the importance of respecting her partner, yet has the courage, in the privacy of the relationship, to reveal her “imperfect” side—which can also be captivating.
So, I’m drawn to a woman who balances what is expected to nurture love and family over the long term with her more intimate traits, those that only a man who loves her can truly understand. - What is a recent prominent event in your life, and how has it affected you?
- My career transition from Brazil to Europe. I currently work for a French organization and chose to live in Málaga, as they have a branch in that city. I really like Spain, and moving here was a major career achievement that has opened up many interesting opportunities.
- What is the best advice that you give to your children?
- Drink water. Haha, I’m kidding. Life is a bit more complex than that. If I had to give just one piece of advice, it would be: get to know yourself and try to express your true self throughout your life. However, at times you’ll realize that you need to let go of certain things, because the world doesn’t revolve around us. Seek a balance between being yourself, but not at any cost. In life, we learn to be authentic enough. That’s a golden lesson.

- What are your goals now?
- My professional life and my hobbies are very fulfilling at this stage of my life, but my greatest dream is still to have a family and experience a deep love. Not just any family, and not simply having a partner. I want to be happy and feel my partner’s happiness in the same way. If it’s not about seeing each other happy, I’d rather remain alone.
- Do you have a lot of friends?
- I meet many people through my work, but true friends are rare and should be cherished, because to me they are for life. Loyalty is essential.
- What qualities do you dislike most in those of your gender?
- Simplicity, kindness, warmth, and the courage to be who she truly is with the man who loves her. I admire people who have a sense of charity and genuinely care about doing good for others.
- What qualities do you dislike most in the people of the opposite sex?
- People who lack cultural and intellectual interests and who are opportunistic. No amount of beauty can replace clear values and interests in life.
- Who are your favourite writers and poets?
- The list is long, but without a doubt, my favorite writer is Oscar Wilde.
- What kinds of music do you like?
- That’s the hardest question to answer, because I’m a fan of many musical styles. The ones I listen to the most are rock, trip-hop, folk, post-rock, and some pop, but I also really enjoy styles like bossa nova, romantic French music, flamenco, fado, tango, traditional Indian music, salsa, merengue, and so on.
- What is your favourite food?
- I’m torn between French and Italian. Both cuisines are very interesting. I like the sophistication of French cuisine and the simple yet unmistakable flavor of Italian food. When in doubt, a French restaurant on Friday and an Italian one on Saturday. Are you in?
- What are your favourite films?
- My favorite movie is Dead Poets Society. It inspired me to choose my career and become a university professor.
- What is your favourite activity or hobby?
- Composing music, recording it, and also performing as a DJ. I also really enjoy listening to music. To round out my main hobbies, I love traveling and being in new places and unfamiliar yet enjoyable situations. I want to explore the world until my last days on Earth.
- What is your dream job?
- Being able to write and share my ideas about how to live better with the world. That’s basically what I do today, and that’s why I consider myself a very happy person.
- Where do you want to live?
- Exactly where I live today: in Málaga, Spain. Málaga has been considered by global expatriates as the best city to live in, thanks to its exceptionally high quality of life. There are more than 300 days of sunshine a year, along with the infrastructure and safety of a well-developed Western European city, art and cuisine that truly enchant me, and very welcoming people. Years ago, I set the goal of coming here, and today I live in the place of my dreams.
